Real Estate in India

Real estate ! ! what comes into your mind when you think of it? ? a home ,office etc. . real estate plays a very important role in everybody life.. after all we cant live without a it ! ever since the evolution of human the first thing he looks for is food to eat and a place to live that shows how crucial it is ...only once in a life time a person purchases a property so companies before actually providing services should first understand the need of people ,their preferences, buying behavior etc. This sector actually possess a huge potential, but from last few months this has been affected a lot due to the liquidity crunch in the market so now the question that arises is that what is the scope of real estate in the coming months or years? due to increasing population people are not getting place to live ,there are million of people homeless, there is shortage of land . this gives a huge challenge to real estate firms to actually think about such issues keeping all these things in mind there are companies which are coming with a one shop solution..as in providing all services related to real estate at one place..i believe if more companies come with such unique ideas that day is not far when we can actually build a strong base for our nation..

Is Sachin Brand Out????/

Is sachin brand out????we have seen sachin playing for so long and certainly he is the best batsmen in this world but his presence has been felt low if we look at the advertisements

Many companies have withdrawn "Sachin" from their brands?

Is it because of Ageing Sachin?

Has Sachin lost all the charm and charisma he maintained for almost a decade?

Sachin has been facing quite a few injuries and has not been performing good as he used to be thats the reason his ads are not creating impact ..

Why has nakshatra changed aishwarya and hired katrina as their brand ambassador???

Now a days Most of the companies go for young cricketers who are emerging just because they reflect the face of “youngistan” also these cricketers are very cheap as compared to other BIG players..

Does brand ambassadors really affect the purchasing power of the consumers ??? the answer is yes as well as no because there are two types of customers 1st one are those who merely go with the advertisement for eg: people in rural areas they simply look at the celebrtity whos endorsing the brand.. The second type of customers are those who are intelligent ,celebrities does not influence their buying pattern ,they like the way they are ....

Basically it all depends on companies which segment they are targetting ....talking about youth segment sachin may not be good for pepsi as dhoni is and dhoni may not be good for any brand as sachin is ...

Also looking from the companies point of view companies need to change their strategies time to time which also include brand ambassadors just because to keep a consistancy in their brand ...people are normally fed up with the same person so refining their strategies does help ....

Ultimately my question is when shahrukh khan can endorse pepsi, ,amitabh bachan can be a brand ambassador of quadbury at this age why cant sachin ??????

Is age and performance of any celebrity is the only criterion to promote a product???

Again its Microsoft and Google

Again its Microsoft and Google

The war between both seems to be endless ,earlier it was Yahoo now its “VIVERI” its a research engine developed my Microsoft just to get closer with Google... the CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer says this research engine will help Microsoft to grow organically ... Viveri is designed as a standalone research search engine that will not be connected in any way with Live Search. This will act as a testing grounds for new concepts, ideas and technologies. Suppose any developer of Microsoft has developed a new software he will upload that software on this research site and any one could access that and can leave any comments or feedback for further scope of modification if required... the site is still under construction and they are planning to launch it in summer !! i certainly hope this marketing strategy proves helpful to Microsoft and they can again prove that

UNETHICAL MARKETING

Have you ever seen commercials in television who prove that they will make you fair in 14 days????
i believe this is something unethical that they are doing ...though they have targeted the segment pretty well and understood the consumer behaviour ..still i believe that the way they promote their product is not good...they make the consumers believe that they will get results within few days which no one gets.,..its just a way to market their product....but just for gaining profit how can they play with emotions of people ??? i believe legal action against these products should be taken so that in future they don’t fool around with public......same goes with other products also such as shampoos ,hair oils etc ... and these products also sustain in market “coz some or the other person might use it for the first time ,,,,can we say it is unethical MARKETING?????????

Yesterday while having bingo a thought came into my mind n i thought how crazy i used to be for lays few years back...this made me to write about bingo
In India people are more interested in consuming snacks and some of the top leaders in this segment are Pepsi, haldirams, Britannia , ITC etc
Though Frito lay is the market leader but ITC bingo has attacked lays with a frontal attack strategy .
How bingo gained popularity was through their amazing advertising with their tag lines such as “NO Confusion Great combination” they brought humour in their advertisement and tried to target the audience in the age group of 17-30..
They also came up with different flavours such as “teekha nimbu “ “chilli potato” which almost made lays to look upon their marketing strategy once again...bingo introduced rack system in which every shops used to have racks with bingo chips...this type of distribution made bingo to climb the ladder of success. Lays came up with a reply by launching the similar variety in their chips also they made it popular by popularizing it as a “HEALTHY SNACK” there are some other brands also in the market such as Pringles ,Haldirams , Britannia but mostly bingo and lays are the market leaders as of now...and in future we have to see how they compete with each other and get into the minds of people with their creativity

E-Cigarettes

E-cigarettes

Its a good news for all the smokers who want to leave smoking as smoke has taken birth in a new generation popularly known as e-cigarettes..now what exactly is this e-cigarette..

The E-Cigarette is a non-flammable device that consists of a tiny rod that is longer than a real cigarette, and comes with a replaceable cartridge that contains liquefied nicotine, tobacco flavour, and a space to hold the ingredients. The E-Cigarette also has a small rechargeable battery that allows nicotine to be converted into vapour with each inhalation.

When a smoker takes a puff airflow is detected by a sensor and the microprocessor inside injects liquid which is converted into vapour that goes inside and gives smoker a kick !! also the vapour does not have any smell.

Its biggest advantage is that they are safe ,does not affect your health, do no stain your teeth, can also help the smokers to quit cigarettes ,low cost and many more...isnt that great?????

One can purchase e-cigarette online by visiting http://www.electroniccigarette.in
These are becoming very popular in india also I believe these companies who manufacture e-cigarettes should do a good homework before and segment target and position their product effectively.

They need to generate awareness ,make people believe that you don’t have to curse your will power every time you think to quit ......there is an alternative on the other side which they need to follow.

So simple it looks !!! now the problem that may arise is the already existing competitors ....

i think e-cigarettes should adopt a Frontal attack strategy by matching the opponents product, advertising, and distribution and the principle says that the side with greater resources will win.... so i believe this will be a better strategy to attack with.

With such products coming into picture that day is not so far when we can say that
